I have no use for people who have learned the limits of the possible.
Additive Manufacture (3D Printing!) I have recently, ok over the last few years, got into 3D printing and some light robotics. I´m using a fairly modified CR10 and a Tronxy XY2 modified for duel extrusion plus a resin printer. each has its merits and I would say: CR10 Spec E2D Hemera direct drive extruder (really good for fast and flex printing) BL-Touch (no more fiddling with layer 1) Magnetic bed (as long as its clean it always sticks without glue) Frame bracing to improve speed and quality Sitting on squash balls (reduction in noise by a lot!) Driven through Raspberry Pi running Octoprint so easy control and running This setup with a 0.6mm nozzle is used for strong fast printing and is my go to printer for larger jobs. Tronxy XY2 Duel Updated with duel extrusion kit from Tronxy Running through Raspberry Pi Zero 2 and Octoprint Generally stock! This is a super-fast printer for any small jobs and runs a stock 0.4mm nozzle. The duel extrusion took a bit of setup and was intended for print in place support but being able to print 2 colour is really useful and allowed me to make some cool badges for the car. Elegoo Mars 2 Resin Printer Stock! I print with water wash resin only as its easier to manage The quality and ease of print makes this my 1st choice for anything upto the bed size. The quality of prints is just great and I would always use this 1st over the FDM. I have some designs here: https://www.thingiverse.com/e2vdavidb/designs This includes some robot designs with SW for Arduino. Whern I have time I´ll add some info here on my Arduino and ESP projects as this is also a interesting new venture.
